I was wondering if there are any tests that can be taken >to see how fertile I am, and or how much time I may have left? unfortuneately, there is no test that says "you have 2 years left of fertility". A cycle day 3 FSH level is sometimes used to determine if it is worthwhile to do own-egg IVF in women closer to 40, but you could have a normal FSH now, and still be infertile now -- or next year. You could have tests done to see if your tubes are open, but since you haven't even tried to get pregnant yet your doctor may not order it (while small, there aer some risks to these tests). In general, the most common advice is "try, and if you aren';t pregnant in 6 months, come back for evaluation". It is a difficult situation when one partner is ready and the other isn't. You and your husband need to have a good heart-to-heart talk aobut your desires for children and the realities of your biologic clock.
