Am I right?

I am almost 36 (in 3 weeks). April of 99, I terminated a pregnancy at 4 1/2 due to Anencephaly. 6 weeks to the day I got my period which was normal ( I also had a cyst from the pregnancy that was still there until my next cycle when it ruptured.). The second cycle through now which is several years I have had spotting begin 7 days prior to my period and continues until I begin a flow. My flow lasts 3-4 days then spotting a day or two after the flow has ceased. During this time I every time I have intercourse with my husband immediately following (not during) I am irritated vaginally for a full day. I have been tested for everything and cultured and nothing found. I am wondering if since I terminated my body went out of whack so to speak. Although my hormones tested normal. The only clues I have are as follows:

-Years ago when I was on birth control I had the same irritation and nothing was found then either. As soon as I stopped taking the birth control the irritation after sex stopped. (Not currently taking birth control)

-I have suddenly developed brown spots on my face which I am told can come from hormonal imbalance.

-As I said before, I spot begin spotting exactly 1 week to the day prior to my period.

Is the imbalance possible considering bloodwork was normal? Can the irritation be from low estrogen levels?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
