[Birth Control] Increased potassium levels with Yasmin

I started taking Yasmin in May, 2002. (I'm 31 and gave birth in April, 2001 - just background info.) After reading all the info included, I read where it stated not to take NSaids because that can increase potassium levels. After the birth of my child, I developed rheumatoid arthritis that has waned to where I only need to take Aleve every once in a while (once/twice a week). I took some earlier this evening and an hour & a half later I woke to my heart racing right out of my chest!! I've never had this happen before. Could this be a sign of elevated potassium levels? I assume it can be reversed, but how? I do plan on seeing a doctor to test, but, of course, it's Saturday, so I just wanted some place to start with my PCP when I call on Monday. Would it make more sense to just do blood work and work my way up to EKG, etc...
