Vaginal vault prolapseFrom: Lily (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 31 Jul 2002 21:30:23 -0500 (CDT)
I'm 44 and had a vaginal hysterectomy 2 1/2 yrs ago. I now have a severely prolapsed vaginal vault (my clitoris has detached from hood and is sitting at entrance to vagina!) Uncomfortable to say the least! I also have a mild cystourethrocele & symptoms of rectocele - I assume if my vault is collapsed then this is par for the course? Is this repair do-able without compromise to my clitoris? Is it normal for this seperation to occur.......I just realised what part of my anatomy that actually is? Thank you
