This is going to sound weird but here goes. For the past month I have experienced pain and pressure on the clitoris and the tips of the labia lips. The sensation ranged from needle pricks, to pinching to absolutely excrutiating pain. However, there's no swelling, cuts etc. all looks normal. My pap smear/STD tests were normal. I'm seeing a gyn this week but my physician was bewildered by pain without any physical symptoms so I'm not sure if the gyn visit will help anything. Is there any specific tests I should ask for to rule things out? I've been diagnosed with vaginal dermititis before but I've learned to deal with it - my current problem is not responding to anything that helped with the itching previously. Thanks in advance for any advice. U.
