It didn't come back. One of your sexual partners gave it to you again. Pelvic Inflammatory Disease is an infection of the tubes which is almost always started by either gonorrhea or chlamydia.
Endometriosis is an entirely diferent process. There is a whole section of OBGYN.net devoted to it. please check that out.
