Hi, I'm also not a doc, but I have endo and have had two laparoscopies. My next lap will be a hysterectomy. I'm currently on BCP -- I've tried this on and off. It helps with some symptoms, but then there's other problems. Unfortunately, docs here will probably offer you more hormone related treatments -- luprin to induce "temporary menopause" and shrink the endo; progesterone. Unfortunately, there are significant side effects with each. Bottom line, you're not alone, but endo seems to be a much ignored chronic condition. Good luck.
