Daniel Braun, MD: "Re: Passed something unusual" I have had clots during my period since I gave birth to my daughter almost 2 years ago. That is around the same time that I went on Ortho TriCylen. The day after my period started (yesterday) I passed something that looked like a clot, but it was kind of flesh colored, and paper thin, about 1 1/2 inches long. I had been having cramps, diarreah and a backache all day, which isn't all that unusual for me, except they were slightly worse, and I felt nauseous. Besides that my period has been normal. Should I be concerned? Any ideas on what that "thing" was? I would appreciate any information. Thanks!
