A lot will depend on the size and location. Fibroids can cause the baby to be in a abnormal position(like Breech), preterm labor and delivery, and severe abdominal pain(due to the fibroid outgrowing its blood supply). Fibroids should almost NEVER be operated on during pregnancy.

Most folks would recommend getting pregnant and see what happens. If they cause a problem, then, if indicated, have them treated before getting pregnant again.
