You haven't mentioned whether your mother takes any medication or has any known conditions such as kidney disease, or how long this has been going on. I am not a doctor, but in my opinion anyone with these types of symptoms needs to be seen, and I would recommend another doctor. It could be all sorts of things, including kidney or liver disorders.At the very least her doctor should explain WHY he isn't concerned and why she doesn't need to be seen.
