You always get an automated, chose a number, we'll call you back message? WHY would you tolerate such arrogance, insensitivity, contempt and lack of respect .... are you "stuck" w/this doctor due to your insurance plan or something? How long does he make you wait to get the results of any diagnostic tests?? A month, two months? Sheesh! Thank you for letting me know that you've gotten some relief. I really am glad to hear that. Seriously, tho, don't let things go that far again. It is foolish to risk permanent damage of some kind because you don't want to seem to be a wusp or something. If it were me, I would be looking for a new doctor, one who would have real live human staff to filter his calls and who sets aside time after or before office hours or at a midday break to return calls that need to be returned or to have his staff return your call w/information or instructions. You could then explain why you couldn't be reached until such & such a time at home and they could make arrangements to contact you then.
