Reply: Victoria: "Re: 15 year old having problems..." My 15 year old daughter has never really had a regular cycle...she began menstruating at 11 yrs old. For the past year, she has been vomiting for about a day everytime her period starts. Today, she was having such sharp pains around her ovaries that she finally decided she needed to go to the hospital. They've put in a referral to see one of the ob/gyns on base. I was wondering if it sounds like it could be endometriosis? I recently had a total abdominal hysterectomy due to severe adenomysosis and endo which was all over diverticulosis on my colon. Would she have other options if the pills don't help? I appreciate any advice or questions we should ask the gyn at the upcoming appt...thanks. Next message: Harvey S.
