Elle, not sure, but maybe what you see and feel is skin tags around the anus. skin tags are just flaps of skin, not hemmorrhoids. they can be any size and can get rather large. you "can" have them removed. but unless they are large and become problematic, docs don't usually remove them cause removal can sometimes cause problems.

don't be embarrassed, ask your doc about it. that's what they are there for. besides, s/he will see them at your next exam.
