Anonymous,

I can't answer all of your questions, but one that I have seen come up, and has been answered, is yes, a polyp can prevent a pregnancy. Your age may be playing a role as well. Have you seen a Reproductive Endocrinologist to help you? If you've been trying for six months without any birth control and you've not acheived a pregnancy, it is time for a consult.

Good luck to you!
