worried..From: anonymous@obgyn.netSun, 21 Jul 2002 09:33:17 -0500 (CDT)
Hi, I have been diagnosed recently with a polyp in the uterus. It measures 8mm,and my uterus is 9.6 cm. by 5.6 cm. by 3.5cm.,and some fluid was found in the endometrium.I have been trying to race with my biological clock (42 yrs) and try to conceive for more than a year now with no success. My questions are:is my uterus size voluminous? big? or is it of normal size? what is that fluid found in my endometrium, should I be concerned ?does it have to be removed? I need to remove the polyp, will that affect the uterus tissue in any way? and finally Doctor could these problems be the ones preventing me from conceiving or is it only my age?I really appreciate Doctor your help and answers to my questions I don` t sleep at night because of these worries thank you.
