septated uterisFrom: amy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 19 Jul 2002 15:46:06 -0500 (CDT)
I am a 27 yr old woman. i have one healthy 2 yr old daughter that was conceived without any difficulty. However i have a septated uteris and have suffered two miscarriages in the past four months. i have been told conflicting stories by different drs. and would like someone to give me any information that would clear things up for me. I was told if i had it corrected that i would have a chance of having scar tissue and not be able to get pregnant. i was also told that if i didn't have it corrected i could chance getting pregnant, but would also have a greater chance of miscarrying. Since I have already suffered two, it is a highly emotional strain. Please tell me the pros and cons of both of these options. Thank You.
