As you probably know you have to be careful with wearing tampax all the time , unless you change them frequently (due to risk of toxic shock). For the wetness my doctor told me a constarch powder was fine (baby powder has a non-talc, all cornstarch formula.

Yes, other women go to the gyn for bothersome odor and discharge. . Mine sees me the same or next day for these types of complaints, not in one month. He is considered the best gyn in the area and is as busy (probably busier) as any other doctor. Perhaps you really don't have an infection if they resolve on their own. Perhaps you are having an allergic type reaction to soaps or your underwear if your flora is normal and the smell not always present. Or maybe your vaginal ph is less acidic than normal (this is easily corrected). You really shouldn't have to live with unpleasant odors and discomfort. Find a doctor who will help you if this one won't get to the bottom of the problem. If the smell is outside your body and others can detect it, then tell the doctor that because that should propel him/her to action.
