Reply: Pat: "Re: 2 periods in 2 years - Menopause?" am a 45 year old, overweight and supposedly in peri-menopause. have only had 2 periods in the last 2 years, my Dr doesn't seem concerned. i dont have any other menopausal symptoms (nite sweats, mood swings, etc) and haven't had an internal in about the same length of time. when i had my gallbladder out 3 yrs ago, i also had cysts removed off my ovaries and they mentioned there was some signs of endometriosis. should i be concerned about the complete cessation of menstrual cycle.
