I am now 24 weeks pregnant and have placenta previa as determined by 3 different unltrasounds. Yesterday morning after running around the house getting my 2 toddlers ready to leave for the day, I went to change my clothes and felt a trickle of clear fluid run down my leg. I brushed it off a bit and then later that afternoon, I went to the bathroom and saw that my underpants were again wet with a clear substance, but this time it was accompanied by a odd rubbery, mucus-like blob. My last child was almost 6 weeks early, so on top of the complications that i've had with this prenancy, I may be a bit paranoid at this point with this happening. I have noticed that with this discharge, I have had the normal "tighting" in my lower abdomen. But the baby is still VERY active and I feel fine other than the worry. Can you give me an idea of what this might be before I get charged for an unnessasary visit to the OB? Thanks so very much for your time!
