Gina,

An endometial biopsy can hurt like the dickens. I have never been asked to sign a consent form before the doctor performed this procedure. Having the procedure done could cause some bleeding. Perhaps you are cramping because this triggered your period?

Whatever the cause of the pain, you can always phone the doctor's office to report your pain.

Personally, I would not have sex until the pain has vanished. Didn't your doctor give you any instructions regarding this? Again, you can phone his/her office to ask if and how long you should wait to begin sexual relations again.
