I promise to go back to my lovely, patient self as soon as my hormones allow. I only started hrt last week and yesterday came as quite a scare in the a.m. By the p.m. I was confident (or at least with a relative degree of certainty) enough after researching the WHI study not to phone my (probably) harried Nurse Practitioner. I'll continue my continuous Estradiol and Prometrium until my next appt (in 3 months)- I have osteopenia, am 43 years of age and understand that now is a very important time for hrt. I'll reevaluate with my NP then.
This board is wonderful for giving the patients the opportunity to
understand the healthcare providers side of things and visa versa. Thank
you for your input.
