Bladder Infections kept coming back

I am 21 and since October 2001 I have had about 6 bladder infections. Each time I am prescribed Cippro. I was told that I have to urinate immediately after intercourse(so inconvenient). Well I have been doing that and I still got another infection.

So my questions are why do they keep reoccuring and what can I do to prevent this very very very uncomfortable condition from reoccurrig over and over again for the rest of my life.

Do I need to see a specialist?
