Maria,

First off, (((((hugs)))) to you. I don't know whether your dr set you up with a female physician or a male physician but if you think that it will help you may want to consider a female physician.

I have found that having a female physician works best for me but everyone is different. Some find that they are more comfortable with a male physician. Everyone's situation is different.

Also, when you go let this OB/GYN know how scared you are and that for this first visit right now all you want to do is to talk. A lot of OB/GYNs see this often.

In the mean time take a look at: http://www.gyn101.com. It's an excellent site.

If you have any other questions for me personally feel free to e-mail me directly at any time.

Take care,

===== Kristy :)

Hoping to be a nurse soon but for now just a Medical Secretary who does a lot of learning from reading on the Net, books, my dr(s), as well as sharing my own personal experiences.
