Hello. About 8 weeks ago I had what my doctor thinks was a ruptured ovarian cyst. I had LLQ severe pain and was doubled over on the bed for what seemed like several very long minutes. The pain subsided somewhat but was still there for several days. Gradually it lessened until it was only a little twinge now and then. I called my doctor and he told me to come in if I was still feeling pain after about a total of a month. Mostly the pain was gone, but since i was still having a small bit I went in. I had a physical exan with no signs of a cyst. Of course that day I felt fine with no pain at all. That was about 2 weeks ago. I am still having a few small twinges of pain now and then. My question is how long does it take to heal from a ruptured cyst? Would it be possible to feel it for several weeks? I would greatly appreciate a response! Thank you.
