Left Side Burning PainFrom: Mary (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 5 Jul 2002 13:29:09 -0500 (CDT)
I had a complete hysterectomy 3 years ago. During the procedure they "stretched.. doctors terms not mine" the femoral nerve which caused my stomach/hip and thigh to my knee to go numb. Now 3 years later I have some feeling back but the pain has increased to the point that I cannot stand it. I've been through a multitude of tests most involving digestive tract etc. which showed little except mild diverticulos and a hiatal hernia. They don't think that would account for the severity of the pain I have. (The Pain is always in the same place.. left quadrant and I can place my finger on the spot.) It's a burning throbbing pain and I cannot stand pressure on my left hip. The Doctors discount anything I say and I'm at my wits end. Does anyone have any idea's?
