Take a look at Earlymenopause.com. I'm 43 years old and the last year was one very strange year. I went from a size 6 to a size 12 (14 for comfort around the house). Grew from 128 lbs to 142 lbs with no changes in diet, running 2 miles per day and weight lifting 2 x a week. After 1 year of confustion my Doctor has taken an FSH level and it is 30.4 which is menopause range. She has taken me off birth control pills and placed me on hrt. Hoping my weight goes back to a normal level, but if it doesn't at least I know what the heck has been going on! Keeping a journal of your symptoms will help you and that webpage above is very helpful. First, however, make sure you are not pregnant.
