Renee: I have been taking bcp's and depo together for about a month now- so when you switch I don't think it matters too much if there is a break in between. I was very afraid to try depo too. It is 3 weeks today since my first shot- no side effects other than a little moodiness...but that can happen anyway! lol. I am glad that I tried is despite all the stories I read/heard because it does work for some people. Good luck. Amanda
