My personal experience was that it wasn't comfortable - sort of crampy and pinchy. I wouldn't say it was terribly painful though. I would suggest that you ask your Dr. for some naproxen or Vicodin. I took 1000mg of naproxen and I think that probably helped.

The ecc samples endocervical cells. Usually they're looking for cells inside your cervix that may be abnormal.
