? for those taking Mircette as HRT in perimenopauseFrom: Anon (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 1 Jul 2002 09:35:34 -0500 (CDT)
My doctor has recommended Mircette (because of low dose) for HRT to help with dysfunctional uterine bleeding (DUB) and to get me over the "hump" (interesting description) of menopause. For those of you who have tried Mircette for this purpose, were you pleased with the results? Have you had any limiting side effects? In the past I have experienced fluid retention, wt gain, BP elevation and extreme irritability from OCP's. That is a big reason why Mircette was recommended because lower dose should not produce such side effects. Your experiences or opinions are greatly appreciated. Hormonally yours
