well i was just told my ob/gyn found an 8 cm cyst on my left ovarie .. i have had problems with painful periods , heavy periods, painful intercourse, lower abdominla pain (always on my left side) this has been an on going problem for about 6 years now .. i had 3 miscarry in a row then 2 live births .. i orginally went to doc because of 2 + pg tests .. now im told it might be abnormal pg and i will most likely lose the baby because numbers didnt go up like he wanted in a less then 48 hour span ( only 2 hcg tests ran) he said he must remove the cyst but wants to do it laproscopy he said it is much easier this way but that i will lose my ovarie in the process i am only 23 years and am not sure my family is done yet .. i have many concerns .. could this be the cause of so many mc in my past? is it possible to remove that size cyst without taking my ovarie too? how will i know if it is for sure an abnormal pg? if it isnt will this effect my baby? what if my numbers contnue to go up does it mean a viable pg? and also he immediatley wanted to schedule for a dnc because the first hcg was 24 and the second was 32 shouldnt he wait to retest to make sure no errors or ne thing? ne comments or answers would be appreciated thank you in advance krista
