Beth, Why are you taking the Ortho, birth control? The progesterone cream is useless as long as you are taking the Ortho because the synthetic progestin in the pill blocks the progesterone receptor sites. The pill may also be contributing to your peri symptoms because of the additional estrogen you are putting into your body. Also, bc pills can cause or exacerbate depression. I would suggest you get off the pills, just do the other things for a few months and see how you feel. Progesterone will help with depression so you may be able to get off the Prozac eventually as well. Good luck. BJ
