question about the response I got - - - spermicide irritation

Thank you for your answer(see below:Dr Chudacoff response); but I am not
sure what you mean by: exfoliation of cells secondary to your patient.
What does 'patient' refer to? Besides a trip to the gyn; how could I
tell if that is what it is? Thank you!!!!
