im currently on ortho tri cyclen and i am experiencing mid cycle breakthru bleeding. i take my pills religiously and have not taken any medicines that would affect my pills in any way. the spotting is so minimal that i didnt even realize it was spotting until after i had been having it for over a week. i have had sex in this time during the breakthru bleeding and i was wondering what would cause this breathru bleeding (since i have never experienced it before in the year i have been on the pill) and if there is a risk of me becoming pregnant whiel having breakthru bleeding eventhough i take my pills religiously

i have spoken to my doctor about this but i still feel confused and didnt feel that my question was answered. your reply would be graciously appreciated.
