lump in breast

I'm a new mom to a 7 week old baby. I have been breastfeeding (exclusively) (alternating between both breasts) and just noticed a hard, painful lump in my right breast. It is maybe the size of a nickle and is located on the side of my right breast about halfway between my nipple and my armpit. Is this what they call a plugged duct? How can I treat this? The area does not feel warm, is not red, and I don't have a fever. Ann E. (28 y.o.)
