I started the pill within 24 hours of getting my period. I am still having some bleeding although the color is reddish/brownish. I was wondering when this would stop, and if this constitutes the spotting to be expected. Can I stop this bleeding so that it does not impede sex? At this point it feels no different than being on my period prior to beginning birth control. My period never lasted 7 days before. I was expecting the pill to slow down the flow and the length of the period. Any info. would be appreciated.
