I am 23 yrs old, hx of Migraine HA, HTN, and Anemia. G2 P2, tubal ligation done this month, have tried many different BC to control frequent prolonged heavy bleeding, including Depo, which caused weight gain , increased migraines, and emotional distress. BC Pills also made migraines worse and increased BP. Anemia getting very troublesome as I have had it since menses began at age 12. Iron hard to tolerate, very tired which is not easy having a 3yr old and 4 mth old to chase. What options may be available to control my frequent prolonged heavy periods? Is uterine ablation an option? I am very leary of hormonal treatment because of weight gain, and emotional issues. I would appreciate a response. Thanks :-)
