G2 P2, tubal ligation done this month, have tried many different BC to control frequent prolonged heavy bleeding, including Depo, which caused weight gain , increased migraines, and emotional distress. BC Pills also made migraines worse and increased BP. Anemia getting very troublesome as I have had it since menses began at age 12. Iron hard to tolerate, very tired which is not easy having a 3yr old and 4 mth old to chase. What options may be available to control my frequent prolonged heavy periods? Is uterine ablation an option? I am very leary of hormonal treatment because of weight gain, and emotional issues. I would appreciate a response.
