Which specialist should I see. A brief history. I'm 37yrs old, 11yrs ago I had a left tubal pregnancy, tube removed, 3yrs later, I had surgery for adhesions at that time dx with endometreosis. 4yrs later I had a child with the help of fertility drugs(I think clomid?) felt fine for awhile, endometreosis symptoms returned off and on. Sometimes I had cyst with my cycles. GYN put me on BC pills, they helped. Approximately six months ago symptoms of endo were getting worse. Pain in my left lower pelvic area, in the bend if my left leg sometimes radiating down, pain raidiating up to and under my left rib cage. Low back pain, low abdominal pain, cramping worse than usual, periods heavy every other month. Gyn exams painful. To clear up the endrometreosis, stoppped my cycles with the BC pills for four months. Not help much, seem to only add bloating and gas to my symptoms. Doctor suggested surgery, LAP or HYST, my choice. MRI, showed a small disc bulge at L5/S1. Went to a gastrointerologist,no blood in stool, colon fine, felt pain was coming from uterus also. Went to another GYN for second opinion. He said I had a bad uterus prolaspe, the cause of my lower pain, He wasn't sure of the pain under my rib cage or of the left side, said it might be gaurded pain. Ultrasound confirmed prolaspe. I had the surgery, LAP asstisted vaginal hyst, almost 8 weeks ago. It helped with some of the pain. I still have all of my left sided pain, pain in the bend of my left leg(this pain is worse at the end of the day after being up on it and walking), pain under my left rib cage. etc..

I'm still very sore around my bladder(don't know if this is normal.
A new symptom since the surgery - I have to sit down slowly most of the time. If I sit down to quick it
feels like something hits something and it hurts, sharp pains. Sometimes when
standing I have to get up slowly or its painful, not a sharp pain but an ache.
After getting up and down frequently (which I have to do at work) it feels
like the muscles directly above my bladder start to spasm. Sometimes if I put a
little pressure on my lower abdomin when standing it seems to help.
I have another appointment with a gastro this week. Not sure what to do. Have
I waited long enough since the surgery? Do I see a gasto or some one else? Do I
need testing/ what kind? Please suggest, A C
