hi! I am switching from Marvelon (called Desogen in the US)to Ortho Tricyclen next sunday. On Marvelon (by the way is a fourth generation pill) I got recurrent yeast infections, terrible mood swings, bad headaches, acne and a skin rash (Erythema multiforme). Personnaly, it's the worst pill I have been on. I never had a problem with blood cloths though. Because everyone is different, this pill might work great for you. You should give it a try. A lot of women do good on it according to my doctor. If you don't want to take any of the third generation pills, look at these links:

You'll find all the information you need. I would suggest Ortho Cept, Loestrin 1/20 or Mircette. Ask you doctor about them.

Good luck!
