hello, I had a marsupialization about 12-13 days ago. I am feeling some pulling, some sort of tightness. I got 7 stitches holding the bartholin area open like a pouch,,, it kind of looks like a flower-crater thing right now. My stitches are making me feel sort of weird. It is now day 12-13, I know that the stitches serve no more purpose -- correct? My doctor used Vycril , they are purple color. Can I get these removed. They are very visible, tied up and knotted. They are about a half inch long each, so I realize they are very easily accessible for cutting and removing. Should I have my doctor remove these now? These will take forever to melt down and absorb. They are thicker than sewing thread !! I dont want them in my skin anymore. Will removal hurt? please advise. They are not feeling comfortable.
