The estrogen in the pills is causing your endometrial lining to overgrow. You do need to see a doc and it probably wouldn't hurt to get an endometrial biopsy done to make sure there is nothing else going on. Also, you should seriously consider getting off the pills (listen to what your body is trying to tell you) and switching to a non-hormonal form of birth control. Supplementing with natural (bio-identical) progesterone cream will help get your hormones back in balance and prevent this overgrowth. The synthetic hormones you've been taking do not necessarily work the same or as well as the real thing. Good luck.
