I am thinking of switching to a pill that contains progesterone hoping it will be more helpful with daily cramps and other endo pain. I would like to have as few periods as possible (ideally none) because they are so painful that I lose time at work. Is there something that is stronger than the mini pill (so I wouldn't mentruate) but is not so strong as depo provera (in that excess weight gain is less likely). If not- is there something similar to depo provera that is in pill form so I can have control to stop using it if I gain weight - or even a lesser dose injection. I am not in need of contraception; I am only seeking pain releif. Any suggestion would be appreciated. Thank you so much. Amanda E.
