? for Doc!!! Mammogram once a year or every other year?

I'm a bit confused about this one. My nurse practitioner told me that every other year was fine since my baseline mammogram last year was normal. I'm 41 with no family history of breast cancer, however, I have been on HRT (estrogen .05 patch and Prometrium 100 mg) for about 4 years. I have had several xrays this year for upper gastro area and I am concerned about receiving any additional and possibly "unnecessary" exposure to radiation. Any advice on this? Thanks for any help.
