In reply to: jo: "tender rib" Hello. I am not a doctor and have zero medical training. I have costochondritis. This is an inflammation of the soft tissue around the rib cage. It is totally benign though it can take a while to clear up. It can cause the same symptoms you are having. A good doctor can diagnose this pretty quickly. If I were you, I would go in and get it checked out. Rest alot and try to carry your toddler in the front or on the other side. Best of luck.
