Previous message: Barb: "permanent damage?" I am 6.5 weeks pregnant. I became pregnant by insemination. I am experiencing some bleeding-- very light now (barely even spotting) and all brown/pink in color, no red at all. I went to the dr. She did an ultrasound and saw a hearbeat. Also checked the cervix and it looked fine. My question is-- why would I be bleeding? The dr. said she didn't know... my concern is miscarriage. Does any of this indicate miscarriage? Also, the dr. found a cyst in my ovary when doing the ultrasound. I have PCOS and I wonder if it's related. The dr. said it was normal and was supplying progesterone. Does everyone really get a cyst during the first trimester? But she also said to take it easy do it doesn't twist. Is this normal? Thanks!
