Cervical Polyp?

I have been having post coital bleeding for a few months. I went for my yearly last Tuesday. The doctor found a small 'polyp' she thought, she said it almost looked like a skin tag. It immediately bled when doing the pap smear. She put silver nitrate on it and told me that if the bleeding kept on, then I needed a sonogram to rule out polyps on the other side of the cervix. The next day I was bleeding and called and she told me to come in the next day. She put more silver nitrate on it and the bleeding stopped for the day. She went ahead and did a songogram which she says is normal. The bleeding kept on for 2 days, and then stopped. It started again 3 days later, and I passed huge blood clots. Now it is over a week later since the initial visit and I am still bleeding. She said the pap and sonogram were normal, so she feels like the bleeding is 'hormonal'. I wasn't bleeding like this before. I changed birth control pills because of insurance, and she just said to try the new pills and see how I do. I don't feel comfortable with this, and I have an appointment with another doctor next week. Do you have any idea what could be causing the bleeding? I also have Pelvic Congestion, so I thought maybe that had something to do with it??
