Keri - I don't think that your immune system is still affected from not being breastfed. From what I've read, breastfed children are generally healthier up to the age of 7 or so. After that age, there probably isn't much of a difference. The fact that you were not breastfed will not decrease the benefits that your children will receive from it. A lot of women who weren't breastfed (including myself) have nursed their own children. It's great that you are planning to breastfeed your kids! I am really glad that I did, especially my son, who was a preemie. Good luck. Linda
