My hysterectomy is scheduled for July 16th, with a uterus the size of 4 to 5 month pregnancy, and I am two years post menopausal. The Dr. really feels the hysterectomy is the option I needed. I am overweight, and a type two diabetic. She has ordered a follow up ultrasound. Questions, is it a common practice to move to the hysterectomy immediately, in this situation? Could the large uterus be the cause of my having alot of shortness of breath? thanks for your assistance.
