I'm not trying to save my uterus..just my sex lifeFrom: Katey (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 29 May 2002 13:34:31 -0500 (CDT)
I gave birth 5 weeks ago(not very large but 4th child)and I believe I have a prolapsed uterus. I can actually see my bladder and the opposite side of my vaginal wall seems to be protruding inward as well. Although its not nearly as morbid as the pictures I've now saw on line. My bladder is obviously starting to come out. I have no desire to have anymore children. The problem is my vaginal opening also seems very large which never happened. Is this caused by the prolapse? Will that correct itself? I've always done Kegels and that isn't working, although I'm not incontinent at least.I've read the options for prolapse repair, but it doesn't address this issue. I'm 27 and would like to return to a healthy sex life? thanks!
