Yasmin and progesterone dosage

I read in the archives that a pill is more forgiving of taking it late if it has a progesterone with a very long half life. I am on Yasmin which has 3000 drospirenone. Do you know if this has a long half life?

Also, I usually don't start my withdrawl periods until 5 days off the pill. Could this high progesterone be why?

Just curious. Thanks!
