I went to my GYN over a year ago and had a LEEP done due to Dysplasia. 1 week later I had a Laparoscopy done due to tons of pain I was in. My Gyn didn't find anything he said so I digured it was in my head. Well now I am having alot of blood after intercourse and it is extremely painful. I went back to my GYN and he diagnosed me with Menometorrhagia/Dysmenorhea and Dyspareunia. I have to go and have a Hysteroscopy/D+C done on June 10th. My doc also said that he might want to try me on Depo Provera, but I have heard sooo many bad things about that, and it scares me. Then he said that there may be no other option except a Hysterectomy. My sister had to have a total Hyst done about 2 years ago due to Endo and I am wondering if that's what is wrong with me. Can it be possible that I have Endo? Is it hereditary in any way? Should I try the Depo? Or get a Hysterectomy? I had my tubes tied 6 years ago, so I am not having anymore children, but I am only 29 and don't want to go through early menopause. But this pain during intercourse and bleeding after and 2-3 periods a month are really starting to get to my relationship with my husband. Please, I could use any kind of advice.
